Hey guys!!!!!!!

I know it has been bloody long since I last posted something, anything at all.

5 months have passed and I know I have disappointed readers who have been wondering where the hell did Mr.Ryan go. xD

The answer is simple: Just ask any A-Level student around you and you will know the answer.

Life has been busy since the start of semester 2. Now that AS exams are really around the corner, I shall write this post to at least wipe off dust that settled in my blog.

Wish me luck in my AS exams!!!!

Bye for now.

Hope Chelsea will lose this weekend. :)

Wesak Day joy ^^

However, I have chosen not to betray my readers any longer. This time I'm blogging on how I celebrated Wesak Day.

Wesak Day, one of the most important days in Buddhist calendar, is a day to signify and commemorate the birth, passing away and enlightenment of Lord Buddha. As a devout Buddhist, I fully understood the meaning of Wesak and did what all concerned Buddhists do -celebrate Wesak by visiting temples. :)

For many years, Wesak Day is celebrated in the SJBA compound. It is no different this year.

Went to SJBA at 11am. Met Matthew. And gosh, he is a volunteered helper in the oil-lamp lighting department. That's wonderful. Had a short conversation with him and knew that......he is one lucky man.

Guess what, he has been offered a scholarship to study in India. =D Great news. Saved thousands of ringgit.

As I walked around the temple, a familiar figure was seen walking in front of me. On closer look, I knew he is one of my former teachers. But who??

Of all teachers, I met Mr. Thiru. Unbelievable eh? Anyway, I'm happy to see someone whom I haven't met for almost half a year.

Next, as I made my way to the meditation hall, I spotted yet another former teacher. This time a lady teacher.

Cik Chang. O.o If you can remember, she is my form 2 Sejarah teacher. The world is really small. Don't u think so?

Made my way home and got ready to visit the
Maha Vihara Buddhist Temple in Brickfields. For your info, I'm joining a trip organised by the Buddhist Society to this sacred temple.

Went college at around 3.30pm. The chartered bus arrived one hour later. Wasted my precious one hour. Zz

Heavy downpour didn't dampen our spirit. It was a blessing from Buddha, so said Mr.Tee, Sunway College Buddhist Society's adviser. Believe it or not, I'm making my maiden visit to The Maha Vihara Brickfields temple. I do felt a little ashamed to disclose this fact. -.-

I shall now feast your eyes on some photos taken. =)

These photos are taken in the Maha Vihara Buddhist temple. Notice the exquisite drawings and sculpture.

Even the Prime Minister and his wife also join in the excitement :)

Reasons for not blogging

Hey people, happy Wesak Day to all Buddhists! ;) I know that this wish is delivered one day late but it doesn't matter. In fact, Wesak is celebrated over a week. Am I right? xD

Anyway, thousand apologies for keeping my blog dead and untouched for a week. I don't know why I don't have the urge to update my blog as frequently as I did before in recent times.

The arrival of my semester break has long been greeted with much joy and ecstasy. Reason being: I can finally delve deep in my own sweet time doing things I like.

Playing D.O.T.A has been pretty much my daily routine for the last few days. It is so alluring that I can't fight and resist the temptation that D.O.T.A has in store for me. ;)

Next, I'm seriously addicted to my new-found interest: facebook-ing. Who wouldn't? -.-

Long-lost friends have been kept in touch and relationships are forged through the means of facebook. It is indeed a wonderful tool to connect people from anywhere in the world.

So Let me ask. How can I find enough time to blog when there are 2 major distractions which are sticking onto me like a chewing gum? xD

I'm back with a bang =)

This is the moment that I have been waiting for after suffering for the past 5 months.

It's my 1st semester break!!!!!!!!!! Can u imagine my elation?

And there is every reason to rejoice in.

No more exams. No more books. No more stress. No more waking up so early in the morning.

Perfect.

I shall rest my body and soul in the next 2 weeks, like what many of friends have been doing for the last 5 months.

Holiday?? Trip?? Dota?? 1v1 battle with tjen??

Come on, let's rock!!

Football woes.

It's been a while since I last updated my blog. This could be attributed to many long reasons but as far as time is concerned, I know that there isn't much time for me to spend on blogging so I shall not dwell on this uninteresting issue.

1st thing 1st:

I'm VERY VERY disappointed with the EPL result on Saturday which saw.... ahem.. u know what I'm trying to convey.

Losing to Chelsea in such humiliating manner is a bitter pill to swallow.

And knowing that Chelsea would leapfrog ManUtd to lead the table makes the defeat even more throbbing, to say the least.

Come on, what is wrong with MAN UTD??!!!

yes, u can say that the team was under tremendous fatigue due to the strainous game in Munich, in which they lost.

yes, u can say that they lost focus and concentration because of the injury that Rooney sustained.

yes, u can say that they need some sort of rest to rejuvenate and freshen up.

BUT that match against CHELSEA was arguably the MOST IMPORTANT game of the season...!!!!

And that fact is strong enough to convince me that MANUTD are losing ground to Chelsea.

My dream of :

-witnessing the unprecedented feat of Man Utd being crowned champions of England for a record 4 successive times.

-seeing Wayne lift the Golden Boot Award ( looks to be fading away....)

-witnessing Man Utd eclipsing Liverpool's total EPL title ( 18)

-witnessing Chelsea losing out on the battle of the championship for the 4th year running.

LOOK DOOMED and SHATTERED.

However, it is not all over yet.

My dreams could still turn out to be a reality If AND only If Man Utd produce a string of excellent result, to put an end to the tumultous week.

starting by OUSTING bayern out of the champions league.

One important issue to highlight:

Chelsea's win over Man Utd is invalid.

The offside goal scored by Drogba was a total disgrace.

This once again showed how a professional referee made fun of himself and became the laughing stock of the world.

Mind you, the words below might be offensive. So please stay away if you can't stand reading them.

The referee is

-BRAINLESS
-SENSELESS
-THOUGHTLESS
-CARELESS
-RECKLESS
-MERCILESS
-RUTHLESS
-HEADLESS

and finally

He is USELESS.

AND WORTHLESS. waiting to be discarded and be buried in the ground for ETERNITY.

-.- livid.

any other words to describe the NOOB?

Life after receiving SPM result

OHHHHHHHHHnooooo, I'm DUE to undergo NATIONAL SERVICE in PERAK tmr. @.@

But don't be alarmed. As I will continue blogging. Living in the jungle is a whole new experience. Who knows? It could turn out to be a blessing in disguise as living in the jungle could stimulate more of my brain cells, thus allowing me to post some other more interesting and eye-catching posts.

I'm crapping. I know. -.-

For I'm NOT going for NS tmr. Can u sense the jubilation?

And U shall shoot yourself in the head if you ask me WHY.

KO-ed.

Serious business.

Guys, I'm back blogging after a self-proclaimed holiday period to control my emotions. Don't get me wrong. I'm not EMO-ing over the fact that I got a C for bio. It is just that I don't have any other time left for me to blog.. that's all.

Life after receiving my SPM result has been really busy.

1. Everyone I know tries ways to contact me, just to know whether I strike straight A's. Well, I should say I disappointed some of them for not getting straight A's. And myself too. -.-

2. Applying for countless scholarships have been Bane's brain-sapping. Esp when applying for Shell Scholarship. I couldn't comprehend why the Shell company would want to make life difficult for applicants. I needed to print out the application form, fill them up nicely and scan the documents. And then mail to them. It is really tedious. And I wish to thank Tjen, my cousin for his kindness to allow me to use his scanner F.O.C. Sadhu x3 =)

3. Getting ready all the necessary documents gave me a SERIOUS headache. -.-

4. Busy coping with a flurry of ongoing events and activities in college.

a. the ABHORRENT mal studies presentation that has been bothering me for GOD-KNOWS-HOW-LONG. (one thing is for sure: I don't enjoy mal studies at all) So I don't mind skipping it =)

b. next week's TS debate. TS= thinking skills. Yea, I need to attend TS classes. WTH??

c. Assignments. Assignments. Assignments.

d. Maths. Esp the chapter on STATICS. I'm soooo blurrr.. And require some form of assistance.

However, there is one THING that lightens up my mood in one way or another amidst the misery and gloom.

WHICH IS-------------- I get the rare chance to meet many secondary school friends now who have secured their future in the SAFE HANDS of SUNWAY UC.

:

Abel, Chung Yu, Zub, Shu Li, Pui Mun, Sing Yee, Ashikin, Jin Hong and ... etc etc

That is something to CHEER ^^

Enough said of the bad part.

Now I shall reveal the good part.

- I am now officially a member of my coll's Korean Club.
That's a wonderful news to note. Maybe I might post in Korean someday =) how I wish.

- Chelsea were beaten soundly by ManCity. =D

- Chelsea dropped a further 2 points against Blackburn. ^^

- MAN UTD edged Liverpool 2-1 in a classic encounter. A Korean hero saved the day.

I guess that's all.

Leaving you with some amazing photos taken in my coll's Chem Lab.

Can u spot which test tube contains Cu2+?

Colourful substances..

Oh.. God.. this was found hiding in the chem lab. =.=
(raised suspicion)

Post-SPM euphoria

Hey people. All the buzz and excitement is still in the air. After surviving the more-than-one-hour ordeal in school to collect my SPM result, I was overjoyed. Really. Not because of the fact that I got straight A+s. Or even straight As. That would be unthinkable. But of course I fancy it.

But is the joy of getting an A+ for Eng and the 1119 paper!!! ^^^^^

This is the result that I have been craving for since the beginning of Form 4. And thank God, I have achieved what I have strongly yearned for.

And the fact that I scored an A+ for BM!!!!!!!!!! I believe those who got A+ for BM would be on cloud nine, as Bm has always been one of the toughest subjects to score A, let alone A+. =) Agree.?

LOOK.. =) and smile. It's an 1A

Overall result : 9A 1B 1C

I deliberately covered the B and C. Just to make it look perfect and more attractive. xD

I certainly have no regrets for taking Chinese in SPM. Despite knowing the fact that Chinese is DAMN HARD to score an A, I would not forgive myself if I have been wicked enough to drop Chinese.

Never in a 100 years.

Because that act of vice is a total disregard to my forefathers and ancestors. AND it is a SHAMEFUL and an UNFORGIVING act.

And I'm glad that I did not disappoint my pri schl teachers, who have nurtured me to continue the learning of Chinese.

And I wish to congratulate those who made themselves and their parents proud. Esp to WAN QIN and SIM HUI, who both did unbelievably well- straight A+s. O.o

And of course to those straight A scorers :

1. Wen Hao
2. Chze Hou
3. Cheecken
4. Sing Yee
5. Shu Li
6. .....

AND the rest. I could only remember some so don't blame me if your name isn't in the list.

Abel, how did u manage to get A for Chinese? O.o

Post-SPM

The tension is now officially over.

And the outcome is known.

Thanking God, I managed to score 9A's in SPM 2009.

But one particular grade smeared my paper.

The STUPID bio.

I got C.

-.-

will update more news 2mr

好像热锅上的蚂蚁- due to SPM result

As promised, I will write this post in Chinese. Just to let u know that my Chinese ain't that good. So pls correct me if u find any mistakes. Comments are most welcomed! =)

lol.

O. I remember something.

RYAN broke AARON's LEG. Lawl

In case u have no idea who I'm talking about or worse still, u think I really broke my bro's leg, let me tell u the whole incident.

It was RYAN SHAWCROSS who broke AARON RAMSEY's leg.

So technically, RYAN broke AARON's leg. =)

It's time to write in Chinese

After writing 41 posts in a common language known worldwide as English, it is time for a revamp.

Yea, I plan to write in Korean. I would love to do so but as far as my Korean is concerned, I have no knowledge at all. Absolutely ZERO. CLUELESS.

Can anyone offer to teach me Korean? I would greatly appreciate your help.

But for now, I'm writing in a language that I'm quite familiar with.. and it is also my mother language.. MANDARIN.

For those who can't read Chinese characters, I suggest that u take the initiative to learn it.(ESP orang cina)

As it is the essence of our race.

Argh.. SPM results coming out soon =.=

Now that STPM results are released, there is every reason to be worried and fear. Some weeks ago, I was told that SPM results will be out in Feb but I never believed the news. True enough, the news was fake. Come on, every single school-leaver knows the fact that the release of SPM results will never take place before March.

I will only be convinced that SPM results will be released in Feb if cows can fly. It is clearly an impossible scenario.

From what I knew, this year's SPM results will be released on 16 Mac. (A tentative date)

Given that the date is right, mathematically there is only another 19 days before all hell break loose.

But I'm looking forward to the particular day for a reason, none other than a long-due reunion with all my beloved friends and my great teachers.

AND my dear SMK USJ 13.

Vivid memories of secondary school life with the bunch of adventurous friends will never be erased for eternity.

And I don't know why as I'm writing this, I sorely miss Cik Tan. Just to refresh your memory, Cik Tan is my 5 Bakti's class teacher and she proudly holds the title of Guru Cemerlang. I miss the joy in her class when I would sleep, complete my homework or chatting in a very carefree way. I know that I'm very rude but I can't help doing so.

I wonder whether she stills teach in school, or she has retired and probably enjoying the rest of her life with ease - stressfree.

Shocking result of the week : Everton 3 ManU 1

This is a disastrous result considering that Chelsea won 2-0 against Wolves.

And now they lead the table with 4 points.

None the less, Everton totally deserved to win and of course my praise as they brutally tore ManU to shreds.

Rooney had a quiet game, probably because he is NOT WICKED enough to hurt his former team.

Van Der Sar couldn't be blamed. If not for his strings of fantastic saves, the outcome would be horrendous.

The defenders should be shot in the head.

Esp.

Evans

Brown

and

Neville.

农历新年气氛

The blogger is back!

And it's time to share some photos taken during the festive period. Im sure everyone had a jolly time, irrespective of u being a Chinese, Malay, Indian or other races. That's the 1Malaysia spirit.

除夕夜

This year my family decided to give it a whole new dimension. It has been a tradition that my cousins would be making their way to my house for the reunion dinner. But.. this year we ended up meeting in a restaurant.

I was pretty sure my mum and grandma were More than Happy. They were granted a day off today!!

Some delectable dishes on table:

Now is the time to indulge in

I'm now in a really CHEERFUL and ENTHUSIASTIC mood.. given that my hols starts tomorrow.!!!!

Yes, it is indeed the time that I have been waiting for the last couple of weeks. A-Level has been a strenous ride.

My strength..,

My brain..,

My energy..,

My time...,

My money... (not mine actually),

(and the list is endless),

All sacrificed.

So CNY is timely as I can live the life of a normal: (not studying + not working) 18 yr old.

A break of 10 days from college can deal a whole lot of fun and excitement. AT LEAST to me.

I have been more than eager to celebrate CNY earlier.. As I can't wait to engage in:

Rounds of playing blackjack.
Rounds of mahjong.
Rounds of savouring the mouth-watering CNY cookies.
Rounds of angpau-hunting adventures.

AND so much more.. not forgetting the rounds of photographing session.

CNY is definitely the most extravagant and relishing event of the year.

I am all set to welcome the year of METAL TIGER.

Yesterday was truly a momentous day as my cousin got married in the nicest and coolest style. I'm happy and at the same time excited as well coz this would be the 1st wedding of its kind in the history of my family.
