The beautiful game's sad story =(

Yet another short post on football. Football... Football... Football...

'Don't u get bored by watching 20 players on the field all edging out each other for a tiny, round object called football for a whooping 2 hours?!!' - I was often asked.

For ardent football fans, that question is stupid. Really. Bcoz people like me just can't cope with life without football, the Earth's most beautiful sport. 2nd is badminton =)

A sad story. Man Utd, the world's most famous football club, has suffered an embarrassment of huge scale. A severe one, I should say. For they were humbly beaten by a modest club, relatively unknown to many with the name - Besiktas.

A deflection from a Man Utd player was all it took for Besiktas to earn the much-coveted victory. U see, Man Utd have been imperious at home for long period of time, with the exception of last year's thrashing by Liverpool ( u can read my older post ). They were on a 23-match unbeaten run at home, but this morning the run was ended in a tragic fashion.

I was watching the match this morning. Man Utd lost 1-0 to besiktas. Unbelievably true. Anyway, I am pleased with Obertan's performance, a new player added to bolster Man Utd's squad.

The 2nd sad story. Liverpool were dumped out of the Champions League knockout stages for the 1st time in many years!!

I was actually delighted with that ( sorry to Liv fans- esp Zubin.. ). There is only one way to save Liverpool from slipping into the abyss... which is to sack the manager.

Apart from the win over Man Utd, Liverpool were terrible in all their matches they played. Without Torres and Gerrard, they looked frail as a team. Even Benitez looked frail at times..

But there's a mouth-watering match coming up this weekend.

ARSENAL vs CHELSEA

call it - explosive
- clash of the titans
- sumptuous
- entertaining
- adrenaline-pumping

it could never be dull. Trust me.

Of course, my hope is for the flying Gunners to tear Chelsea into pieces.

And may luck be on Arsenal's side and my side of course as we both have different missions.

Finally... A much-needed dose to heal this blog

Hey everyone, i bet this post will most probably be left unread, as the unending SPM is still under way. But hey, those who r not suffering like me, you should really enjoy YOUR school holidays. How I wish I'm younger, even by a year to join you guyz in enjoying the holidays, like I used to in the past.

REALLY REALLY REALLY sorry for all the jeers and disappointment of me not updating my blog for like, more than half a year! Time flies.. yes.. Good news.. My SPM exam is almost over. Not exactly.. but 5 more subjects to go. One would lie if he or she isn't happy about that.

Come on, we have suffered for 2 years now, dating back to Form 4.. more than 700 days. It's time to celebrate... Not now, After SPM!! @.@

So as mentioned, I'm overjoyed at the prospect of enjoying myself during the short, really short school hol. There wont be any updating for the next few days.. but you can be sure that I will be back next week. After Physics paper, of course.

But for now, I'll have to clear all the formulas that I stuffed in my head. Especially the tan = sin/cos and all.

Biology, Accounts, Physics, Chemistry and CHINESE!!! Here I come. =)

For now though, you readers have to sacrifice in terms of not being able to read juicy posts and savour interesting ideas.

Nvm, patience is a virtue. So live life with PATIENCE.
