At a crossroads

Dear friends, it feels great and refreshing to be back blogging after a lapse of 5 months +

The time has come for me to make an IMPERATIVE decision, a decision which carries a significant impact on my future. Needless to say, I am referring to the choice of university.

University-searching is really a brain-cracking task. God knows how many universities I have set my sights on but I had to please my parents who have been commanding me to search for various foreign universities. Well, we all know that the application to universities in the UK was a foregone story, the deadline was 3 months back. My efforts of conveying this particular news to my mum went futile as this particular question popped up unnecessarily yesterday much to my dismay.

There I was, using my almighty strength to recall whatever relevant information related to the case and blurted everything for the last time. That's it. I've had enough.

Enough said of the unwelcoming news, it is time to get back on track. The BIG question mark remains: Where does my future lie in?

Let me brief you with my choices.

1. My top priority: NTU, sg
2. University of Nottingham
3. ...
4. ...
5. ...

As you can see, my choices are far from convincing. A donkey (Mr.Lee's favourite animal I guess) also knows that I must not be solely reliant on these two universities but you see, the problem is that I could not establish the 3rd choice from the list below:

- Monash University
- UCSI
- Curtin University
- Tsinghua University
- Technical University of Munich
- NUS (highly unlikely destination)
- HKUST (damn.. I didn't apply before 31 Mar)

And that the results of my application to NTU is still pending. Moreover, I have yet to finalise the documents needed for my application to UoN. All these uncertainties make me feel insecure when a friend of mine, Vincent has received offer letters from both Monash and UoN, (screw u Vincent). Jk Jk

But for now, a daily dose of Cantonese drama series would be the best remedy to all my worries (:

Oh my, I can't live without Cantonese drama series, seriously.

Regrettable error

Oops.. in reference to the previous post, I hereby declare a mathematical error in the first sentence which says 'exactly 5 months after the previous post' which in fact it should have been '5 months and 10 days' =.=

Post-ALevel life

Did anyone realise that my newest post was posted exactly 5 months after the previous one?

That's a testament to the life I had for the past few months. I always seemed busy grappling with 2 Maths subjects + 2 sciences. I never really had a proper time to rest and relax, A-Level was akin to a hungry monster, always on the prowl when it meets its prey. I was the prey in this context, freedom was not a word in my dictionary.

However, at this point of time I succeeded in defeating the beast. Freedom has been restored and this is the very reason that my presence is felt once more on this used-to-be-familiar ground.

Needless to say, I have to spend my time wisely. Now that I've officially graduated from the ranks of A-Level, I foresee an even more challenging route ahead. My future is filled with interminable uncertainty.

Parting ways with my friends was the worst feeling I ever had. I had experienced it NOT ONCE, NOT TWICE, but THRICE! There seems to be no end to the cycle and I will eventually experience it for the 4th time in University. @@

I will however, rejoice at the prospect of being granted the opportunity to meet some great, wonderful and fabulous friends in Henecran Dachgiwwing, Chan Kun Eng and many others of course. They have certainly had a tremendous impact on my life, enriching my knowledge and being there when I needed them most ( a sheer quality uncommon in society ).

I miss my college life.
I miss the joy of engaging in Dota games with all my buddies
I miss the times we went for outings together
I miss the lectures
And MOST importantly,
I miss the sounds of life.

The man is back

Good news, the blogger is back with a BANG!

This time around I decided to give my rotten blog a much-needed refurbishment and what do you think of the new layout?

:)

With A-Levels gone with the wind, there is absolutely no reason for me not to revive my hibernating blog. I felt the need to do some justice to my blog, giving back the zest and desire that were once strong and intense. If I would resume blogging there would be no better time than now. Henceforth, I can assure all readers that there are plenty more interesting and captivating stories to come.

Be patient please. :O
